The PP123 nail gun fires 23 gauge pins with lengths of ½, ⅝, ¾, ⅞, and 1 inch. With this gauge size, you can hardly see the pin once it is driven into the wood. The nails are contained in a magazine with a capacity of 100 pieces. This, of course, minimizes the need to reload, thus reducing downtime.
The magazine includes a sliding switch that you will need to adjust according to the size of the nails within it. To keep its weight down, it is made of aluminum, and to provide it strength and durability, it is anodized. This makes it extra resistant to corrosion as well as wear and tear.
With operating pressures ranging from a minimum of 60 PSI to a maximum of 100 PSI, you are assured that there is sufficient power to drive your pins into your work, including hardwoods. Nails are pushed into the wood by a one-piece drive blade, which runs inside a cylinder that, like the magazine, is made of anodized aluminum. Sealing areas where compressed air can escape are Teflon oil-less O-rings.
The casing of the Freeman PP123 23 Gauge Pinner includes an exhaust vent that can be adjusted up to 360° so you need not contend with blasts of air into your face as your fire the gun. When it is not in use, you can hang it on your work belt. It does not matter if you are right- or left-handed, as it is adjustable. Just remember to engage the trigger lock to avoid accidental discharge while hanging.
The pinner has measurements of 8.5" x 2" x 6.75. Weighing 2.5 pounds, it is easy to use.
