Crafted for both professionals and do-it-yourselfers, the NuMax SP123 Pinner delivers excellent performance without a hefty price tag, firing gauge 23 pin nails with lengths of ½ to 1 inch.
With a magazine that holds a hundred pin nails, reloading is infrequent thus reducing downtime. Reloading is done through the bottom of the magazine. It is ideal for working with finishing projects, including moldings and trims on cabinets, windows, furniture, doors, and even arts and crafts, jewelry cases, and hobbies. You can also use it to temporarily hold down items instead of gluing them. At gauge 23, the holes left by the pin nails are barely noticeable.
The SP123 has an operating pressure ranging from 60 to 100 psi, which allows the pinner to drive down the nails into the hardest of woods. Pin depth is adjustable and it can be set to drive the pin nails at a point just below the wood surface.
The casing of the pinner is made of die cast aluminum, making it a lightweight tool that is convenient to use even for extended hours. It exhibits good balance and has an ergonomically designed handle that is wrapped with a soft grip.
Inside the casing are quality internal parts, including a hardened driver blade, and an air filter that keeps dust and other debris from getting into the tool.
Although the NuMax SP123 Pinner incorporates a safety lever just above the trigger, this is its only safety device. Once disengaged, the pinner will fire whether or not it is pressed against the surface of your work.
Dimensions of the pinner are 9" H x 7" D x 2.25" W. Weight is 2.25 lbs.
