Weighing only 2.7 pounds the 25XP is one of the lightest, if not the lightest, brad nailer available. This means it is easily maneuvered in tight spaces, and will not cause undue arm fatigue even when working all day. With its "NeverLube" design, maintenance is a breeze.
The nailer fires slight- and medium-headed 18 gauge brad nails with lengths of ⅝ to 2⅛ inches. The nails are ideal for fastening moldings and trims, working with cabinets, shelves, and furniture, assembling frames and drawers, and building door casements.
With a nail magazine that can hold up to 100 pieces, downtime due to reloading is minimized. The magazine is side-loading, which allows you to load brad nails of different lengths without making any adjustments. At its front is a ruler for measuring.
Operating at a pressure ranging from 70 to 120 PSI, your nails can be sunk at desired depths even into hardwoods. Such depth can be adjusted using a thumb-wheel mounted in front of the trigger. In case you are working with wood that is extremely hard, the 25XP brad nailer offers the Turbo option which increases power by as much as 30%. With onboard wrenches, you can quickly set the machine to Turbo.
Protecting your work from scratches is a no mar pad that wraps the square nose. This design keeps the nose from slipping as you press the nailer against the work surface. At the opposite end of the tool is a tool-free adjustable air exhaust that directs bursts of air away from you and your work.
An overmolded grip makes gripping the nailer easy on your palms. It also helps prevent the machine from slipping from your grip. Below the handle is the inlet for compressed air. It is angled backwards to keep the air hose from getting in your way as you work. A belt hook is also installed near the bottom end of the handle.
